I don't even know where to start with this picture. It's out of this world. The colors look so unreal - in a good way, mind you - they just leave you wondering how on earth something like this is possible.
Needless to say roses as well as drops make awesome subjects in photography, and you combined the two wonderfully here. But I have to come back to the colors, coz they simply make this shot unique.
The focus is spot on, the details are amazing, and the framing is very well chosen. Good job, this is a really outstanding photograph of a rather common subject!

I don't know if I qualify as a critique and I am a sucker for red roses, but I would like to say that I love the colours. The deep red and the green drops with the dark background compliment each other so well and the way the rose is unfolding with the red tints on the edges of the petals. How did you do it? Did you spray it or are they rain drops? I think I would have maybe cropped a little at the bottom to centre the rose, but overall the photo has a real feel about it. It's great!!
