A rose this active is so nourishing to look at.. it was wise to participate in @leaf-lover's Task for Deviant365---otherwise I wouldn't of seen something so beautiful!! It's the beginning of the year, but it just feels like Christmas all over again by just looking at this color scheme.
Personally, I like being the center of attention in group pictures--even if I'm rarely around a camera because I fear them.. (please to not laughing at meeee.) But as a caregiver and a best friend to many, I'd like my friends to have as much attention as I do in the photo.
What I'm trying to say is, the center of the rose is beautiful..but should there be a private spotlight -just- for this small bud? I don't really feel comfortable seeing the areas of black in the different corners of the page (besides your watermark--that's my favorite part because your wary of thieves), but I would have felt more at ease when I noticed even the slightest blends of rose petals in the dark, lapping over each other so the whole rose doesn't look small in a closeup, but broadened.
Had I seen this whole photograph full of lime drops, shades of crimson, carmen, and the average red petals, I would have felt happy. No worries though!! I love this photograph all the same. Awesome work nonetheless.. and a Happy New Christmas Year lol.
