THIS is a really beautiful photograph
I wish I could take a look at the original non altered shot, it is always interresting to see how the photograph has been changed, she has been given life ...
Even if I see a lot of flowers shot with droplets on it, I think yours is quite original
first, the droplets are really nice lookin : little, numerous, half frozen, it creates a bokeh looking, even on focus
then, all rainbow colors can be seen on the photograph
I see blue then green on one corner, yellow, orange, red on another, even the flower is really colored
it is pleasant for the eye
especially cuz of the perfect focus
very nice piece
(that's a +fav )

First things first: All the best to your mum and many happy returns of the day! ;)

Usually I am not a big fan of macro flower shots because they often look the same and not tooooooo interesting after the 27nd time. This is why I will not score originality too high.

BUT: I love the colour treatment, the noticeable colour gradient which I often add to shots myself. It really gives this shot an edge over many other macro shots I saw lately.

The shallow depth of field is pretty as can be, the background bokeh glisteningly pretty. I am not too sure about the square crop but that's just me.

Soooo: I really like the way you gave this sparkling wet flower a special treatment and made a very special something for your mum.

Take care. :)
