Every SLR camera can do such a shutter speed.
You press one time to open the shutter and a second time to close it.

I love star streams, it looks like a "time warp" to me.
I have always wanted to do a shot like this ever since I saw it on Art Wolfe's Journeys to the edge.
Sadly I live in the city and there is too much light pollution at night :shrug:
But any who this was executed beautifully.

Thank you. Yes, it's difficult when there's much light at the sky,
nearly impossible in cities. These are the moments when I'm glad I live on the countryside.

=D i just learned about this in digital photography class. when you leave the shutter open at night it gets the moving stars. i thought it was a joke. but this is AWESOME. <3
